Subject: RE: How goes the install?

Lou:

Basically I would say that I am very satisfied.  On our first trip out, some of our sneaky friends loosened the T-bolts the first night.  I was very disappointed the first morning when the trailer was rocking all over the place.  When I checked the handles and found that they were all loose, I of course retightened them.  The next night was much better.  We were in one site where I had to put the rear jacks ALL the way down, the trailer didn't rock at all.  How nice.

I have noticed that it does depend a little on what type of surface I am on as to how much motion we get.  On the concrete and paved sites, the trailer seems completely rock solid.  If we are on rock gravel where the jacks aren't completely flat against the ground, it seems like there is just a very small amount of motion allowed. I am trying to figure out how to make a universal jack pad that won't be so dependent on the type of ground.  But, I'm not so concerned that I'm losing any sleep at night!

We have only camped about 5 nights with the jacks thus far, but we are planning several upcoming trips.  I am looking forward to using the stabilizers more.

I must compliment you on the quality of the product.  It is nice to see something that obviously involved quite a bit of thought and design.  The machining and product finish is superb.
